In Russia, we mainly hunt mallard, teal, gray duck. There are also geese. White-fronted, bean and gray goose.

I've never been to Russia but many people I work with have been and a few are from Russia. I have a good friend from Vladivostok. I had an opportunity to go for a conference the week before my wedding. Figured the wife-to-be would not be too keen on me being on travel, let alone out of touch on a whole other continent, so I had to pass.

Yes. Many calls from the RCC are being sold in Russia.

You have a funny story! You have not seen Russia, but you have a wonderful wife. Therefore, you can now visit Russia together with your wife, and it will be right!

Hi, I am new. Macgoose, hunting ducks and geese for a mere 27 years despite my advanced age. I live in west PA, land of deer hunting and elk dreams. Happily married for just over two years. I am here for the first time; I want to get to know a few other waterfowl hunters.

I have hunted out-of-state, but not overseas. Waterfowl hunting is my passion, followed by upland, and deer, which leads to many lonely hunts. I like to commiserate with other hunters. I have little advice to offer, but a lot to learn - as we all do.

Welcome. I'm a central PA native living out in Chicagoland. Land of corruption and high taxes. Although that seems to be spreading nationwide.

I have been out to see your elk. They are impressive animals. I definitely dream of hunting them, out west, but not sure it's in the cards.

Hi I'm new to the forum. I just turned 50 and have hunted waterfowl for 34 years. I live in WI and hunt here primarily but have also hunted waterfowl in ND for the last 15 years. I've been blessed to be able to hunt in other states as well like MD and SD. I'll be heading to NE in a couple of weeks for a weekend hunt and am planning a blast & cast trip to AK for 2021. I hunt puddle ducks on creeks, rivers, inland lakes, marshes and fields but was just introduced to layout hunting this year. I shot 4 mergansers on the trip and now (I know this sounds nuts) I'm hooked! I'm in the 30 day waiting period before I blow a whole bunch of cash on something that may be a passing fad but it was cool.

Boat - Gator Tail 1854 Mod-V
Motor - GTR40XD-EFI
Shotgun - Benelli M2 w/ Kicks Xfull
Favorite shotshell - Federal 1 1/8oz #2
Dog - American Water Spaniel

Looking forward to joining in the conversations.

Glad to have you! Let me know if you’d like a log book section of your own to record your hunts and I’ll make one for you.

Hello,
I'm Aquabach.
Do a lot of Canadian Goose hunting in Long Island. Went with a guide for years but finally started hunting on my own. It's fun
Mostly fields but have started doing the marshes and going for Geese of course, Brandts, Puddle ducks and Sea ducks too.
Finally going to make time for me and I plan on expanding my hunting for next year.
Might even buy a duckboat.
Hope to learn a lot from you guys that have done what I want to do.

PorkChop here! Live in ND! Hopefully if my daughter decides to join she doesn’t get banned because she has the same IP address as me like on the other site. I guess if you live in the same house you would have the same IP address

Looking forward to talking about the birds and anything else that comes up.
