We filled with five flavors of little ducks, including a half dozen greater-billed greenheads, and not a big duck on the strap. But I ain't bitching, we passed a fine time.

2 weeks still for us. Nothing wrong with them ole great bills. Have made mediocre hunts great before.

I still don't get how Louisiana opens earlier than Tennessee and Arkansas.

You have the same Federal framework to stay within that we do, but you folks are much more mallard dependent that we are, so folks there would probably howl if you opened when we did.

(Our northern zones also open later because they're more mallard dependent than we are down in the Coastal Zone.)
