That kind of weather gives me a chub-chub. I'm making the quick transition from duck mode to bow mode. Its gonna be hot and heavy this weekend.

Theres a swamp I go hunt once or twice a year just for woodducks thats about an hr away from me.me and a buddy shoot 6 90% of the time.hundreds and hundreds of woodies.if hes ever down he should let me know and well go get em

They usually leave before season opens. Even with all the time I spend in the marsh out of season I could still count the number of times I've seen one on one hand

Haven't tracked it, but I'm pretty sure we set the wood duck record for my coastal marsh blind with five this morning - too near half our bag. Wasn't anything new in front of this evening's front, so it will be interesting to see if anything comes with it.
