Then your plan unravels ten days before fruition sucks.
That's why you ALWAYS have plans B, C, D, E, F, and G.
My buddies who planned
"The epic opening day campout" all are bailing one by one. Two weeks ago they were all out scouting. Reports of ideal water conditions and voo-coo birds.
Now it's, we gotta work.
Fuck em. More ducks for me.

I hear that it's stacked with greenheads already. Not sure I believe it. Gotta go scout a couple wma's. Water is what to look for. No water, no ducks.

Shoot em up. I hunt by myself most of the time. Too hard to get people together to go. A lot more peaceful by yourself, and you don't have to worry about what the other guys want. Plus all the ducks are yours.

Yup. I usually hunt solo for two of the three shoot days of the week. I enjoy the crap out of just having it be me and my dog out in the marsh.

That gif is funny and pretty spot on. I'm going to leave two days early and scout hard. Finding new places is most of the fun. Taking extra gas canS so I can scout a lot.

same here but when you have lots of public timber to scout can be overwhelming. You don't just roll in on Friday night and expect good results in the morning.
