I had someone call me a psychopath one time because I said it should be justifiable to shoot someone breaking into your house at 2 am even if they aren't armed. Her argument was that I'm a big guy and I should be able to stop someone without a gun and because he didn't have a gun then he was only there to rob me and not murder me.

My concealed carry instructor told us.."If someone breaks into your house at 2am,armed or not,he aint there to borrow some pajamas. You are justified at that point to respond with deadly force."
