.177 or .22 pellet rifle?

Posted: Sun Nov 17, 2013 10:04 amI've only ever had 177 guns and had no problems taking down small game. I don't think I've ever even seen 22 pellets in any stores here, so that had a lot to do with my choice of calibers.

Posted: Sun Nov 17, 2013 10:19 amI may allegedly know someone who killed a great blue heron with a .177. They do make some models now that you get a 177 and 22 barrel for when you buy it. Think I saw that one at Walmart.

Posted: Sun Nov 17, 2013 10:56 amI've got 3 .177's and they work. The pellet variety is mind boggling for them. If I get another one I'm getting a .22 but for shooting squirrels and birds a .177 will knock em dead, allegedly.
