I used to be totally unconcerned with them but we just had a Gator attack up near Rockport, Texas a couple of months ago. First one in Texas is quite a while.

I went out last weekend to the Delta and I was hoping the colder weather would mean seeing less gators but I saw more than normal on the banks sunning themselves. I went down one slough and must have had 8 or 9 slide into the water as I sped past.
