Frat-tastic bro hunters

Postby Olly » Sun Nov 24, 2013 3:23 pm

In the south there is a phenomenon going on.

Duck hunting over the last 2 years or so has become especially popular with college aged males. You can spot these douche bags by their seasonal only appearance and their vocal calls.

During the weeks before Duck season Frat-tastic Bro hunters can be seen wearing the tell tell sign of a Drake Waterfowl pull over in Max-4 camo adorned with the very common Drake Waterfowl visor cap and Costa del Mar glass hanging on a Drake Waterfowl lanyard.

As the season draws near you can hear the Frat-tastic Hunter chant his warrior call of "Yea we're gonna fuck up some ducks tomorrow", "it's to hot for ducks we need a cold front", or "grab me a box of 3 1/2" black cloud BB.

In the wild it's best to avoid this species because they are often full of shit and drunk on Natural Light.

This has been a public service announcement. Back to your regularly scheduled broadcast.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

They go into hibernation when temps drop below 30° for 24 hours though.

You'll never run into those types when there's ice to be encountered.

So true. Yesterday was opener and it was insane at the ramp, nowhere to park even. today it was in the mid 20s and only the second day of duck season and there was four boats on the lake including my group.

I posted this because I went to Bass Pro and it was like the hive of Frat-tastic douche bags.

I've seen it around campus here. I stay clear of anyone wearing Drake clothing, my brief experiences have taught me they aren't my kind of folk.

Easy. The Carhartt makes me look like a fucking badass and people get the fuck out of the way when I walk by. Makes life easier for everybody.

Drake clothing is not something to compare quality to. I owe two pieces of Drake clothing, one was a gift and I have worn it a few times but I prefer my Korean War era sweater for the same temperature range.

I have the mock turtleneck, and a full zip. Have had both for a few seasons, and have had no issues.

Wouldn't consider myself a visor wearing frat boy...

Nope. Not sure I could let myself, even if I could get away with it. I have conflicting opinions on the subject...

I hope you choke on a medically enhanced leg bone. Not enough to cause damage. Just enough to remind you of KFC's cruelty, every time you fondle a chicken.
