Fighting or courting? They were probably waiting for you to leave so they could finish what they had started.

I'd say fighting cuz there was a lot of blood and feathers on the ground and I called ldwf and they said they had just released the smaller one a few days ago in the area

I was thinking the same thing but I'd guess its too early for them to be breeding.

I've had 20 in the back pasture picking over fox carcasses for the last week. If they start going after the chickens, we're gonna have a problem.

When you are allowed 47 deer a year, he doesn't have to be as frugal as we think.

Technically, I'm allowed an infinite amount. Does are "unlimited" for a good chunk of the season.
And that Larry the Cable Guy hamburger helper IS very good, but I ain't eating foxes.

Very neat. Chance for a Scotch double.
That's a joke, I ain't mad at 'em. But here, eagles are only cool outside of waterfowl season, as they'll clear a farm or marsh of birds with a pass and keep them away as long as they're airborne in the area.

You might have in Korean, at least relatives to fox.

Yup. Bout 2 miles outside my hometown there is a guy that has a decent sized pig operation. His wife likes the eagles, so he drags any of the dead pigs into the field across the road. I've seen upwards of 30 eagles in that spot at one time, fuckers are everywhere.

I ate plenty of dog. But I've never been around any dog that smells half as bad as a fox. Those fuckers are borderline skunk, most times. Maybe a skunk crossed with a goat would be closer.
Either way, I'd have to be far hungrier than I've ever been to eat one of 'em.

I've only ever skinned one, and the smell was horrible. I'll skin them, but no way in hell I'd ever eat one. I'd probably resort to cannibalism first.

Cut your hair into a Mohawk, paint your face and wear a head dress. Then claim to be an Indian. It worked for Elizabeth warren.
