do you guys get sent a HIP Survey? Not the online one you have to fill out before you get your new license but the actual paper one from USFW? I get one every year.

I've never got one but my dad gets stuff almost every year. This year the usfw sent him pre paid envelopes and want a wing from each bird he kills for the season.

I was thinking a cormorant wing.

Dad got sent the same thing this year. He didn't want to do it but since he doesn't hunt waterfowl much anymore I talked him into doing it. Don't think he's killed anything to send in to them yet.

shit.... now i gotta go open the envelope to see if I have to send wings too. pain in the ass!

they did that to me for 4 years! they send you an amount of envelopes that they expect you can fill, by the fourth year they just sent a giant box full of them. wrote them a letter telling them to find someone else and wrote return to sender on the box. haven't heard from them since.

I got one the first 2 years I started duck hunting. Nothing since.

Seems to me that they get the information when we buy our license. I tell them I killed 20 ducks, no geese and no doves.

It's a program that won't die. They probably burn the wings without even opening the envelopes.

I sent in wings 14 years ago, and I've gotten a letter asking me to do it again every year since.

They don't need to know exactly what I shoot and where.

The mourning dove society sends me a survey from 2012 every two weeks and they go right in the trash, I probly haven't been to a dove shoot in three years.

They send me it every year but I don't fill it out but people are relentless
