I have a spoony in the freezer from 2010, shot I thaw it and cook it, or leave it alone?

I'd keep it as evidence. Try to figure out who put that crap in your freezer...

Why aren't you out at a party, rockin' the flat bill, and chasing girls?

I have cooked ducks that were in the freezer for years. Not proud but will admit it.
Wild game can be kept frozen a long time. Trim off any freezer burn and cook it if you want.

things only last 60-90 days in the freezer, after that they develop freezer burn. while freezer burn is not deadly it can cause severe cheapness, distrust of all government and law enforcement, shortened temper and extreme anxiety with decreased performance in the presence of pintail ducks

Fuck it, you already paid three years of electricity to keep if frozen, cook it and if it doesn't turn out, toss it, it only costs a few more cents to cook it.

It's been an honest 50 years since I ate a 17 year-old beaver. I am however ready to move up to an 18 year-old beaver any day now.
