Had a war with some ice today...and lost. Could have been worse...a lot worse. Almost took a bath. Not looking good for my rig.

Glad you are ok. At the end of the day it sucks but being able to walk away is the biggest blessing there is. It must be a Ford thing. I parked my last truck the same way.

Had backed up and stopped to look at something. Started forward and the ass end started heading for the river. Goosed the throttle to get all the tires turning and it kept heading for the river. Finally got a little traction and it moved sideways. Then it grabbed and I shot across the road and climbed the bank. Released the throttle but it was too late and the truck turned onto it's side and slowly slid into the tree. Without the tree it was a 20 foot drop into the river.

That's some scary stuff.
