Was just kinda joking. But I'm planning on an Arkansas trip next season.

Got three drakes, a suzi, and two drake Woodies today. It was a good one. Will haul my ducks into my hotel room later to take pics n clean em.

I had to scramble, take down camp, and haul ass to Jonesboro. The weather is about to kick my ass.

One woody came in early. Then a pair of mallards. Later two drakes and a suzi came in. Took the green.

Looks like good times.

The last woody was a fluke. Swam into my spread.

Two drakes and that hen came into the hole and we're hovering. They busted me or the dog and split...
The drakes went over this huge bush covered in buck brush. The hen went down the slight lane I'd came in on.
The drakes were going to be hell on the dog so I shot that hen instead. The ice was 1/2" in places.
Good decision from my perspective.

I shoot every hen I legally can.

1/2 inch ain't nothing.
Broke more ice than I knew you could do with a 14' Jon boat. Was right around 2". 3/4mile to get to open water, but limits of green were on the other side.
