...my 11 year old laid out her life plan for me. Said she plans on going to Paris College in Paris, Africa because she's black and likes to shoot kitty cats with pistols. Then she'll travel to the US where she'll work as a cosmetology lawyer, where she can cut hair and argue with people because she's a multitasker. Then she'll retire to Antartica, Forida, where she'll tattoo her face.

arguing
traveling
Mike Tyson type face tattoos.

Point is she is thinking about her future and how to survive.
Most children spend too much time trying to figure out how to get someone else to provide for their wants, not needs. That's already taken care of in general.
Red, be proud of your kid for thinking forward.
