Running Radar?

Maryland's Finest insist on doing this here. Took this pic this morning while out running traps. It's a 4 lane divided highway, with a big wooded median. I'm getting ready to cross the two westbound lanes, and they're facing the eastbound lanes running radar. I had to wait for this bus, which had to go into my lane, to cross the median and turn left heading east.

They do this shit all the time, everywhere. Do cops other places just park in the fucking middle of the road to run radar?

Not in ND. They will sit in the median and catch the traffic going both ways.

Nope. Our cops are smart. They hide in the wooded median and check traffic going both ways.

Speaking of recreation...did you see how they installed "amnesty boxes" at the Colorado airports so ppl can toss their stuff.
When asked, "where does it go?"...they said "confiscated". OK, now where does it go?

This. Or ours will park in hidden driveways to people's houses.

Those guys are hidden. If you're going east, you can't see them until you're about 50 yards from them because of the trees. That's why they park in the middle of the damn road- because if they were on the shoulder or off the road, you could see them a good ways awayz

In Urbana, Illinois the city cop parked on private property to hide better and take radar. That is a no-no.
The cop was trespassing and got ticketed by the county sherriff . Homeowner asked officer not to park in his driveway. Officer refused to leave, and got into trouble.

Awesome.

That officer parked every day in the same man's driveway. Finally the homeowner took a stand and knew what he was doing because he checked first. It was big news around here.

In 5 years I was pulled over once in MI and 3 or 4 times in CA (never getting a ticket oddly). The U.P. is barren of cops for the most part.

The cops fly by my place at about 70mph quite often. My road is a short cut in between two small town.
