There is a video of a blind black lab retrieving ducks that was posted on here or maybe dhc. I know someone has seen it. I searched YouTube but could not find it. It was maybe two years ago. Thanks for the help.

Had to be somewhere else cause I have read almost all of the threads on WFF and don't remember it. Would like to see that though. I searched Youtube as well and got nothing.

I remember that as well. Wanna say I saw it on a show? Guy went to go hunting and his dog was at the door, even though she was now blind. He figured he bring it with just because, and listening to the splash and using it's nose it could find the birds.

Okay, I missed the blind part in the original post, and was wondering how the hell we were going to remember video about a black lab.

Exactly!
I'm starting to think it was on DHC. Haven't been on there for ever though.
The video was about a female Black Lab, I think her name was Teal. Pretty sure she had cancer and lost her sight because of it. The video showed her running across the ice (maybe) and retrieving a duck. It was one of those videos that got dust in your eye.

My recommendation is ask Rick in about 3-4 hours

Teal was Freddie King's half blind Lab best known from his tribute to her:
Pretty sure the one you're thinking of was from here in Louisiana. totally blind and still hunting some. Fellow posted some pretty video on DHC and maybe here, too, a couple years ago, but I'd sure not know how to dig it up. Maybe just search "blind dog" there, but with such a poor search engine it could take a while...
