The action is very tight still (almost too tight). I bought it used, and have put several thousand thought it.
Lost a firing pin at one point. Cost me $60 to have one made, and installed. Other than that, it's been great.

Posted: Thu Feb 20, 2014 1:05 pmIf it's the Field hunter they were sold at Wal Mart for around $500-$600. Seem to be very reliable, I had a 12 but it was a terrible fit for me.

Could possibly find one cheaper, but then you're gonna have it shipped, transfer fee, and not be able to check it out before buying. If its nice I'd go for it.

Heard good things about the Yildiz, but I would take the Italian made Fausti.
