Pissing on it only seemed to make matters worse. Looking to the left for birds out the window while steering with my knee and opening a bag of pretzels at the same time is apparently a bad way to drive.

Did that truck do something to make you mad? First you try to off it with a tree, and now this.
Either do the job right, or stop trying!

I did that exact thing in my last truck looking for birds and everything. except I was opening the lid to a spit bottle. The only difference was I had to get a wrecker to get me out, my 4x4 went out trying to get it out.
I'll see if I can find the picture.

Last time I got stuck, my truck stayed in the middle of a NWR stuck up to the doors for three or four days. When I got back to it, the bears had climbed all over it. Had to have the refuge crowd pull me out with one of their pieces of equipment.

I've gotten the 3 Jeeps I've owned stuck more than any other car I've had.

Probably only because you were willing to go into more sketchy places than with the other cars.

Yup. Last fall something broke in the linkage so it wouldn't engage when I was stuck in a mud hole duck hunting. Then this winter my dad snapped the drive shaft while we were up north at the cabin. Got out by ourselves in 2wd both times though.
