Close to home

Postby 3legged_lab » Mon Apr 21, 2014 8:06 pm

We had an employee on employee shooting at the BNSF rail yard the other day, just a few miles down the road from my house. My dad talked to an eye witness today who told him the shooter emptied his mag, set the gun down and said he'd waiting for the police to show up. Sounds like the shooter had no plan on returning home. The victim was a young guy with a family. Pretty sad deal.

Crazy, I wonder what the motive was.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

I was told by a cop that it is almost always sex, money, or drugs for the murder stuff. This one looks work related but who knows.

I've heard rumors around town but that's all speculation of course. What I dont like is that one of the news articles I read called it a "shooting spree" but if that were the case the other people in the office would have been shot/at as well. I wish the media would just report the news as is. No need to embellish.

That shooter looks like a fucking koo koo bird. He had obviously planned the shooting from the sound of the news report.
