.....what a storm we had in South Alabamer around 2 a.m. this morning Lightning popping consistently, with a close by strike here and there, hail hammering the windows (from the West at first, then from the East), 4 1/2" of rain in about an hour, and wind from hell! It was loud enough to encourage us to move downstairs for a little while until then worst part passed. Our street (which never floods), looked like a river. I imagine things were worse North of us, and it will not be a surprise to see a sizable death toll from it , given that it hit in the middle of the night. Too bad we can't harness the energy from storms like these, shit is incredible!

I've been oblivious I guess. Just a constant gray rain with cold wind the last few days and it'll keep going for a couple more

Wish y'all luck down there Tennessee got hit hard in a couple places but not like some areas south and west of here used to live in Dothan I know it gets bad down in L.A. (LOWER ALABAMA for the northerners) (no offense to the northern boys on here)

Wish to heck we could get 4 or more inches of rain spread out over a few days. Glad you guys are okay.
