I'm suprised we haven't even been close to 100 yet here. Few hours south is setting it but not us.

Yeah, but I bet it wasn't -15 for a week straight down there in February.

No shit. I'm going to be pissed if my vehicles get hail damage! Narrowly dodged fist and golfball size hail a week ago when I picked up the truck. How shitty would it be to have to claim insurance on the first day of ownership? Went to the Toyota dealer the next day and literally every vehicle in their lot was damaged.

I have never had to live in extreme cold so I don't know for sure but we get 110 plus for 4 months and triple digits over night is the worst part. I think I would trade you.

That would suck. The tornado overturned a couple of trailers in a oil camp

I didn't have to deal with the mega-hail when I lived in the mountains or Michigan (crazy I know, since the weather there is so unpredictable  ). I can handle if my vehicles get fucked up because I do something stupid, the stuff out of my control is another story.

It got to -67 here this past winter. I will take the heat any day of the week. The cold is only neat to live in from October-december. Then I'm ready for heat.

Can't even fathom it. I guess it's a grass is greener deal. If summer were shorter it wouldn't be so bad. The good thing is cooler weather is only a few hour drive away for June-September.

I'll be moving south once I retire from the Air Force. I've gotten frostbite way to many times from doing the most minuscule tasks.

Yep, when my hands got exposed to the cold and soaked in piss it created a recipe for disaster.

Only had one of my soldiers ever get frostbite, he got it while shoveling his sidewalk after we did PT and he was soaked in sweat. And it was his nutsack

80 is where I say fuck it. But if I want AC I have to go sit in the truck.

I usually just take off all my clothes and sit on an ice pack.
