I know I'm cheap, but surely I'm not the only one who has a kid that constantly cracks them up. Layniebug just came in with a harmonica (still her most prized birthday gift, from 3 years ago), a pink golf ball (that she found at the park), and an old cream cheese container. She said "watch this"...
I've been around long enough to know that, upon hearing those words, if possible, pause the action and get out the camera. She's now been amusing herself this way for about 20 minutes.

You gotta love how easily entertained some kids are. Four of my five are. The "one" needs to be entertained

"Ridicule heading my way"....... yeah I watch the world cup. Me and the old man do every time it comes around. He can't help it, he's foreign and it rubbed off on me.

I used to hate soccer, but when I was in Korea, the one TV channel that was in English (aside from AFKN, that US propaganda network) was some sports channel with soccer coverage damn near 24/7. Not sure what league it was, UEFA, I think, but we all each picked a team as "ours" so we'd have something to watch and talk shit to each other about. Mine was Ajax, from Belgium or somewhere. And after about 2 years of this, you actually start getting into it. So I enjoy watching it now from time to time.

Little girls can be funny as hell. Growing up I always wanted to have a son and when we found out that our first kid was going to be a girl, I have to admit that I was a little bummed out about it. Now we have another girl on the way. The other day we were at the pizza parlor and the wife asked if I wanted to try for another to see if we might have a boy. There just happened to be a boys little league baseball team there and every single one of them was running amuk. Only words I could think of was "I don't think I want one of these obnoxious little fuckers running around in my house.".

ill agree as a dad who always wanted boys, I'll admit little girls are grrreat. However now having both, while I still think girls are great, boys are a ton easier to raise
