Ramen - Chicken, Beef, Shrimp?

Postby Olly » Sat Sep 15, 2012 3:48 pm

So I'm sitting here making stickers and laughing as Assa while enjoying a bowl of Chicken Ramen. What's your favorite flavor?

Shrimp. Now Google a field expedient way to get these off. I've been scraping my legs and pants with my knife, but it's getting dark.

You are forgetting the best one, oriental.

I forgot about that picante one. That's pretty good. I like to put a slice of cheese on top.

That's how I cook my ramen. The wife loves it.

Take a couple packets of ramen, and just put enough water in a frying pan to cover the bottom. Cook till the water is just about gone, add olive oil, a couple eggs, cracked pepper and a touch of balsamic vinegar. I add duck and goose cut into very small pieces into it also when the season comes around.

If you are going to add the goose or duck, do it with the egg. I used to throw it in right from the beginning and it just way over cooks it. Really only needs to cook a couple minutes to be done medium rare.

My man meal is ramen noodles without seasoning added (that I've tried), cook up canned venison, thicken up the juice after the meat cooks into gravy, put meat and gravy over noodles. Wash down with your favorite cold beverage.

When I first started out on my own, I would fry up deer sausage in beerNatty Light) and hot sauce, cut it up and put it in my ramen noodles that I had made out of a coffee maker. Talk about some nasty gas.
