My aunt had one back when I was in high school. Tried using it but even on the highest incline the resistance was way too low. Probably good for someone recovering from an injury, that or old people.

My wife bought one years ago. You can add plates to it to get the resistance up. Not a bad machine.

Very excellent machine, though not as good for storing totes of Christmas decorations as the treadmill.

Don't forget the best of the best! The Nordic Trac. That thing would hold around 4 bins AND throw countless jackets and shirts on the arm/tower. My mom had a solid 400lbs of clothes on hers. I won't even begin to mention pop's SoloFlex...
