...is it worth getting? My 2 year contract is due soon and I'm planning on switching to a smart phone and paying the $40 a month or whatever it is for the data package. Hate this stupid POS I have now.

I love the iPhone but I have had them for years. If you never had one couple friends have the samsung galaxy 5 the one that's waterproof. It's pretty cool. A little big but it's cool.

I like the slimness of the IPhone 5. A guy at work got the S5. We still give him shit about asking whether it's a tablet or a phone.

I love it. Take that with a grain of salt though. It's my first smart phone and I know how to use everything so I like it

Im not a phone geek but heres my .02
The iphones are easy to use. Easy to figure out and get 95% of what you need done. Im still rocking the 4s, it does everything I need it to. I know a few people that have galaxy blah blah blahs, but theyre tech junkies, running programs that make NASA look childish.
I vote for the Iphone, good way to ease into the smartphones, easy to use, and imessage is pretty handy if your friends have iphones too.

Iphones are the easiest. I still like my galaxy s4 active better. Main reason it's water resistant.

iPhones are much more user friendly. Steve Jobs really went out of his way to make sure the average person would have no trouble using his products. Probably one of the greatest inventions of this century is the iPhone.

I upgraded to an iphone 5s from an idiot phone (6 yrs old), a few months ago, and it's pretty damn impressive. If you are worried about getting it wet, there is a Life Case available that is waterproof. I know this because my stepson goes through a couple of phones a year, and usually from getting wet. He bought the Life Case and also found a phone cover that goes over it and serves as a phone lifejacket so that it floats. Now, if he could just quit losing that fucker

I'm dumbfounded that you post as often as you do without tapatalk. I would have maybe 50 posts if I went through a computer.

Guys, Rex's post counts are going to jump by the thousands.

I have had every series of the iPhone starting with the 3g, I loved them don't get me wrong. I now have an S5 and I love it even more, I don't add in all of the apps that the tech guys do but I enjoy the fact that 1 it is waterproof without a case, 2 the screen is larger, 3 I am able to download what ever the hell I want no questions asked. 4 I have had far less problems out of this than any phone I have ever owned. I loved my 5 but I didn't love the fact that it slowed down considerably in a years time that I had it, it would lose songs, would not send texts from time to time and would crash.

That sounds like a phone that I would hate, not love. I will never understand iPhone fanatics.

So retarded, I didn't love them during the malfunctions.

If I had a phone that did that I would get rid of it.

Steve Jobs was a god when it comes to electronics. People love how easy he made it to use a superior phone.

I am in no way saying he didn't create an incredible phone. I'm just not a fan is all and I think a lot of people are so obsessed with having an iPhone they'll say it's the best phone in the world while it's a POS.

I had a droid phone and switched to an apple. I will be switching back when my contract is up. I hate how the iPhone isn't compatible with anything but apple. The fixed storage also sucks! I only have 8gigs and constantly have to erase old pics in order to take new photos. Not even enough memory to do the update it keeps bugging me about. Get the Samsung galaxy 4 mini and be done with it (it should be close to free right now.)

In other words "he dumbed it down for the stupids".

All I know about duck huntin is I went twice last year, first day I like to have drowned walking out to the blind by falling face first in water that came just about to the top of my waders bc the guide didn't have a boat, and we were huntin in a freakin lightning storm in the middle of a flooded rice field in a steel blind so I like to have got fried as well, the 2nd day was soooo much better, at least it wasn't raining and lightning popping all around me. And that's my experience duck huntin. All that bring said I've bought 10 or so duck calls, my dad has some old decoys that he used to use, and I'm gonna try it again next year. As for location I'm currently living in south Al but split my time off between there and Western Ky.

Ha! I'm sorry to hear you have caught the duck hunting bug also. Kiss all your extra money good bye. HA! Did you get any ducks on your two trips out?
