After nearly blowing my feet off with the smoke bombs, my wife has steered me in a direction which could potentially explode, but the payoff would be fantastic.
But I don't know enough about the theory to even know if this is BS or not. He basically made a gasoline bong that takes in gas vapor instead of air through the throttle body/carb, and disconnected the fuel pump.
Would this work?

fuel air bombs are nasty in enclosed spaces

It will work until it blows up and turns your truck into an inferno.
Ok, so scheming this a bit, I'm thinking of running the air lines into the grill, and obviously sealing the can up better. But the first experiment will be on my lawnmower. My old lawnmower.

I'd make everything out of higher quality shit than what he had. Preferably shit that won't melt if the engine gets hot.

Good point. The hoses seem to be the "weak point", since any spark pulled in from outside will be put out by the gas, and the other end is suction into a combustion chamber, so should be fine. And double up the canister, maybe put it a smaller gas can in a sealed battery box or something like that, to keep the gas can from leaking. And the gas takes the place of an air cleaner element, so that may equal out the loss in cold air volume. I'm getting curiouser and curiouser to see if this works. And if I don't blow myself up, jihad-style.

I'm hoisting the b.s. Flag. I want to see it go down the road. The fuel is vaporized when it goes through the carb, injectors, or throttle body in this case. I don't see how "double vaporizing" it would increase efficiency that much. And notice he has removed the air filter. Under load, no way it runs.0

But Chris even rode with him so it has to be legit.

Under load this sum bitch would run about 3000 degrees and burn the engine up, IMO. As we know, gas has to be in vapor form for it to burn anyways. If it was this easy and had no side effects, it would already be in production.
