A reminder of good.

Today I was reminded that good people still exist in the world. Yesterday while traveling from GA to AL I lost my wallet. I assumed I lost it at the last gas station I stopped at in Montgomery, after calling the station with no luck I went ahead and canceled all my cards and was upset that I could have been so careless. Today a man called my office because he had found the wallet and found my business cards within it. He's on his way to drop it off at the local recruiting office in Montgomery and they will get it back to me.

It's easy to forget that there are good people out there and even something as small as a returning a wallet can me something huge to someone else. I'm very thankful he found it and not someone with more sinister intentions. I will definitely be paying it forward.

Good stuff Olly, and glad you are getting your wallet back  Hate that you had to go through the trouble to cancel
everything, but better safe than sorry. I find that MOST people are good, and will do the right thing given the opportunity to do so.

A reward is in order. Offer to fix his truck the next time it blows a gasket or something.

Pretty sure a forum sticker has become customary.

I'd have a 12 pack and a WFF sticker waiting for him, maybe a$20 slipped in too.

My wallet fell out in a cab out in Denver, realized it in the hotel, driver drove all the way back from the airport again with no people (no people=no money) so I could get into a brewers dinner. I offered him $50 but he declined several times, so yes there is some good peeps left.
