Kind Of Sad

Postby assateague » Sun Sep 30, 2012 9:05 pm

Just came across this. Sort of spooky, how it looks like people just up and left, leaving behind furniture and everything. I know Detroit sucks, but these pics just look like the twilight zone. What a waste.

That first house looks like it should be in a Tim Burton movie.

Honestly, that is what the "hope and change" the Obamanation is continuing to sell again is all about. Just think what it would take for a Dentist to walk away from his practice, including thousands of dollars in equipment neccessary to his profession/trade.

I get to Detroit once a year, sometimes twice a year and the decay has been a blight for some time. I remember when it used to be a grand city, pretty sad story of decline.

Judging by the age of the dentistry equipment I'd say he walked away from his practice in the 60's.

Those were some beautiful buildings at one time. Can't imagine the money wasted there.
