My "deer hunting" this past weekend mostly consisted of speck watching, and I'm working up a serious envie for their season.

And some envy of those folks in the new areas they're moving into, as that shift is coming at our expense.

My farmer in Jonesboro Ar said they're showing up now, saw a few pins, gads and teal last Thursday and more piling in yesterday. Hope they keep it up till mid Nov
