You might want a plan B and don't forget that I sort of live at a WMA during duck season.
It could be worse. You could be this guy.

Betty,
We will be hunting with Jay Cranford of Hunts Unlimited. Plan is to spend some time in Stuttgart for the Wings Over the Prairie Festival, drop some coin at Mack's and maybe stop by Rich n Tone for a new goose call if they are back up and running by then
If you will be in the area we should get together for coffee or lunch or something
Sounds great but I'll be in Illinois.
First split in Arkansas is awesome for a few days. The local ducks get pounded and them first two or three days hunters are everywhere so you'll get action for sure. It slows down as the week goes on. Your hunts should be really easy. (compared to doing it yourself on public) Focus on the people and having fun. Wander around in Macks Prairie Wings but you'd be wise to set a limit before you walk it. It's overwhelming. If you ever wanted to try on like 20 pairs of waders in every brand and see which one you really like the best that's the place. Their wader area is fantastic. Like a shoe store.
Oh yeah. Rich N Tone is right next door to Mack's but they had a fire earlier this year.
Stuttgart and Arkansas in general is like taking a trip on the wayback machine with peabody and sherman back to around 1975. Enjoy that part and again...the people are so nice down there. You'll have fun.
Go to the museum of the grand prairie but don't let them suck you into the back with the "rice tour". You're wanting to get lost in that little room with all the duck hunting stuff. Spend a good 20 minutes in there, take some pictures, and make sure you look at them old shotguns in the rottiserie thing.
Try and stay out of the county jail in DeWitt. The food is awful.
