Who is buying their ammo where?

I'm ready to plunge into the hoarding thing and want to get a couple cases of #2 steel.
Can y'all steer me to the deals? Last time I bought a case of shotgun shells was way back in the 1900's. ;)
There were 20 or 24 boxes in a case then.

Rogers Sporting Goods or Macks Prairie Wings are my go-to. Watch for sales and they usually have free shipping on cases. Free shipping and no tax delivered to your door step

2.75" #2 steel. Does Rogers sell it? I can't find it. Can shoot 3" but would rather use 2.75. I gettem close.

Farm and Fleet in Urbana, Illinois has Winchester Expert 2.75 inch #2 steel for $10.49 a box. I think I figured out why I never order cases anymore. $104.90 a case. For some reason they've dropped the 4-box limit. Maybe they got tired of me bitchin.

104 was the cheapest price I found per case of what you're looking for ( Macks and BPS) but bass pro you would have to pick up in store since they dont ship ammo in IL. A month or so ago BPS had xpert on sale for $89 a case for 3" 2 shot. But I guess it ran it's course.

Best place I've found to is check out ( Ammograb.com ). They cover all different types of ammo and break it down by cost per round. The best and most effective place to find cheap ammo. I've bought .22LR and 5.56 here for cheap when it was non-existent anywhere else.

Also picked up a couple cases of Winchester Hex-shot for dirt cheap on clearance. They don't sell the ammo but price check different places on the internet and show you where to find the lowest price.

Hope this helps! I've also heard you can't go wrong with Rio Bluesteel and it's dirt cheap watch for it on sale from Cabelas.

Went thru my 12 gauge steel inventory and am ashamed to say that I only used maybe a box and a half of shells last season.
It wasn't because I wasn't going. Hunted in two states and killed maybe 20 greenheads the whole dang season.
It sucked bad, real bad.

On the other hand, if you killed 20 birds with a box and half of shells, you're a much better than average wing-shot.

It's pretty well documented that I lose track and can't count past 18.
