It's assateague. He still has the most posts on this site.
Scorpion peppers aren't that bad. I wouldn't eat a whole one but have made some hot sauce with it and "it's not that bad".
The trick is mixing just the right amount of vinegar with it because the vinegar cools it off.
Assa's looks like it's straight peppers of death.
Tomorrow Sauce...Maybe I'll try some tomorrow. lol
I grow them scorpions too and you will notice it when you touch one of them plants. It's not that bad but you sort of get a taste just by touching the leaves.

I will pass.

http://www.latimes.com/food/dailydish/la-dd-worlds-hottest-pepper-scoville-heat-units-20131226-story.html

Last year, New Mexico State University's Chile Pepper Institute named the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion the hottest chile in the world, with a mean of more than 1.2 million Scoville heat units and individual plants with a heat of more than 2 million units.

They had some extra hot temporary run at Buffalo Wild Wings when I was there maybe 2 years ago. I like spicy food. So I said, let me try half with this new stuff. I normally get half the 2nd hottest and 3rd hottest. I don't think their hottest tastes that good. So I'm used to a some spice. WOW!. I turned as red as that pepper and started sweating. My wife was laughing at me.

Probably a good thing that the pepper craze passed the way of the cigar craze. We had some stuff at the camp for a while of which a single drop would render a plate of jambalaya almost too hot to handle. Doug finally pitched it before someone forgot and left it on the table without appropriate warnings. That Louisiana isn't bad and Crystal better for those of us who prefer a little vinegar with out heat.

It's really not that bad in moderation. I've used the scorpion sauce on tacos and survived.
Have sampled most of the killer peppers and in the process discovered how much the wife and I love habaneros.
The way the heat creeps up on you with them is nice.
Assa sent me some seeds a couple years ago.

Now y'all got to try this stuff!
It's a southern thing so Rick probably is an expert. The black folks around here really dig this stuff and that's where I got the idea. My buddies wife calls it peppa sauce.

Basically throw a bunch of all kinds of peppers and onions into a big ole jar with some vinegar.
It's super tasty on rice. There are scorpions, habaneros, jalapenos, and several other kinds of peppers in there.

Love it, but cannot handle the crazy heat anymore. Tough enough going down, but that fiery, pressured trip out of my asshole was enough to make me start saying no, hell no, not anymore :o

I do however, miss Jim's input on this board, and still chuckle at some of the life stories he told when was on here daily

We email back n forth a lot. Facebook kicked me off. The duck dicks probably cheered.
I got a five-day reprieve so that I could attempt to prove that my everyday name is aunt betty.
Jehler offered to send me an invoice with ab on it to show that yes...I AM Aunt Betty.
FB is getting shitty about ppl using fake names. (It'd da gubment)
I told them to fuck off. Spent my five days tormenting them poor duck dicks.
The Kansas and Cali guys are still assholes masquerading as dicks.

I'll tell assa you said hi if you want.

About FB...I started a business page for shits n giggles. Within a week I was getting gubment forms in my mailbox.
The USDA thinks I'm a grocery store. Point is that they know where Aunt Betty lives, what my true ID is, what I do, what I buy etc.
They just want me to admit it.

He had some interest in getting honey bees BUT...his wife has horses. Ever been bit by a horse fly? I'd rather get stung by a bee. Them horse flies take a hunk out of you.

Anyhow after googling his yard and figuring out where the bees go she said uh uh. There is no where on his acres for stinging flying insects but I bet there are at least ten wasp nests in his out buildings. So I send him honey. We trade stuff.

"Nobody listens to Jim" still.

Tried the Tomorrow Sauce just now. Tiny little dot on my finger.
Holy shit. Ran and got the vinegar jug and rinsed out my mouth real quick and then it's not that bad.
