@ Olly. How about making the season log section un-bumpable so we quit yacking on people's logs. (like the C.I.)

Don't know what "unbumpable" means, but if you don't want to yak on people's logs, don't yak on people's logs.

I enjoy discussions on mine.

In most threads when a new post happens the thread gets bumped to the top of the list in the portal.
If a season log gets bumped to the top it might get some unwanted attention specifically with new posts.
The CI Forum does not get "bumped" and in my opinion that would work with the season logs. Hawaii does not get bumped either.
Some might want their log to be semi-private and without a lot of off topic banter.

A couple of us yahoos lack self-control at times, myself included.
Just trying to make an improvement after a certain member pointed out that we're trashing a guy's season log with off-topic banter. Forgive me plz.

All you need is a pair of chest waders and you can pretty well negotiate most any water hazard.
As a kid our way to cool off after a round of golf was to swim in the water hazards and collect golf balls.
Had to be sneaky and do it on the back side of the Orange Course at the University of Illinois golf course. Nobody cared because the water was only three feet deep. Golfin' in swimmin' trunks. Those were the days.

Ah, didn't know you were talking about bumping on the portal page. Still see such a change more bane than boon, just not as strongly, and may be alone in that opinion.

I like to see them bumped up. While I normally try to keep comments on logs to a min, at least during the season, I do like to scan through what everyone posts up when it pops to the top because of new posts.

Hmmm. Criticize in the log then back off when it's brought up eh?
