I've got a couple pairs of water skis you can have.

World of difference between knocking rice down and keeping it down. 'Course if you're really into rice skiing and get out there every couple of days...

AB, I was making that point, because most DIY rice pond making ventures go awry for that reason. If the stubble isn't upended or driven into the ground, it will probably be back sooner than later.

Rick do you have any idea of how many times I've been asked by a rice expert, "what kind of rice do y'all grow up in Illinois?".

Pictured is the referenced buffalo-like apparatus I'm told we have access to. Does have teeth, i presume can be filled with water, though we may not want to put THAT much weight in it. Gotta see if my bike or another can pull it. Said to be 4 to 5 feet or so

Much mo' better than most. Put as much weight in it as your bike's tires will pull, pack a lunch and a supper but don't try to knock it all down, just a bunch of kinda-sorta open breaks in a BIG area - and cross your fingers and toes.

Yea low and slow I figure is our best shot at it, no need to be in a hurry with it and tear up something on a bike.
