Back around 20 or maybe 25 yrs ago there were X's popping up all over at intersections all over the countryside. They were very precisely placed or marked using surveying instruments. There was a lot of bar room talk about what they were for. Sort of fell off the radar then one day years later it occurred to me what them X's were for.

Not sure but I think they were for Google maps. Possibly some more sinister reason too. Space ray gun satellites are setting homes on fire in California...according to the internet.
Has to be the Russians.

I have my thoughts about California, and it ain't death rays from outer space.
