Warmest socks I've ever had

Postby aunt betty » Sat Feb 03, 2018 4:22 pm

For Christmas this year my daughter bought me a pair of wool socks at Bergners. I think that's a Macys in disguise.
Point is it's not a cheap store and no way would I ever go in one looking for a pair of socks.

HOWEVER:
My daughter must really love me. She paid I don't know how much for these socks that are freaking awesome.
I've had dozens of pairs of wool socks. Bought the mountain-climber ones a few times too. Nothing compares to the new ones I got.

The new socks I'm raving about are called "Heat Holders".
If you turn them inside out you'll see that the insides are like raw wool. (the finest)
Very soft. They're extra tall too. (knee socks)
AND THEY STAY UP!!!

Again. I have never owned such awesome and warm socks like these.
Try a pair. I bet they are $40. Afraid to ask.

Holy **** they're only $16. https://www.heatholders.com/?msclkid=cd ... paign=(ROI)%20Branded&utm_term=heat%20holder%20socks&utm_content=Heat%20Holder%20Socks

Oh yeah. NEVER EVER dry your wool clothing in a dryer. Hang dry.
Why? The wool you paid extra for ends up in the lint trap.

They're soft as heck, very warm and comfy, and the best socks I ever had. I've got a sock fetish. Don't all waterfowl hunters?
The ones I got are the ones on the end that are black. LOVE EM.

Oh yeah. I'm hobbit size so the knee-socks on me will only go halfway up your leg? Forgot about that little thing.

A great gift for a hunter. Socks are not a trifle but an important part of the outfit. Ordinary socks are not suitable if you really want to have a good duck hunting. I know what I'm talking about. The choice should be taken seriously. Read this https://under-the-open-sky.com/best-socks-for-hunting and u will know about kinds of socks and find description of its advantages. Socks shouldn`t just be warm but also comfortable. Good luck to you!
