It's been too cold, wet, windy, to go plus the lake is probably still low.
It's kind of a hard place to fish due to so much variation in temps.
Hot end ... cold end. You really have to know about fish. ( I don't)
Usually Shelbyville has a good white bass run around this time. Maybe later. They fill up coolers.
Ain't saying where exactly. Everyone already knows.

The Asians came and fished the hell out of the crappies. It's hard to catch legal-size one at Clinton.
I catch tiny ones all the time when casting my bait-net.

Seems like spring is late for northern half of the US; can't be good for breeding habitat........unless when the snow eventually melts it makes for good wetland flooding.

It's going to warm up quickly. 70's on Thursday and Friday. Cloudy wet, warm, n windy. Typical.
Long-range after that is no more frosts. Still going to wait until May to plant my sweet corn and other goodies.
Strawberries and sweet potatoes are something we're trying this year. Less mowing every time I till up a new spot.

Hey this is a good chance to explore the ethnicity of "duh hood".

Directly across the street is the Republic of North Korea. (maybe south it's hard to tell)
On the corner to the left is African America. THEY HAVE A WALL!!!! (fence)
To my direct left is The Republic of Congo formerly known as Zaire.
On the right (out of camera) is another province of African America/ Nubia (they have like 6 princesses over there)
Just beyond the Republic of North Korea a little to the east is Mexico.

The geography of my hood is getting crazy. The Bhudists are just down the street in India.

The Nubian men are an odd bunch. They only show up once a month and stay for a couple days.
Easter weekend must have been court ordered or something they all were there.
