We do not have what most would consider cold winters down here, but I have yet to find a glove that is both functional and warm in a hunting scenario.

I second the previous post.

Also it depends on what you are doing. You can't blow a duck or goose call with gloves on your hands. So I use a hand warmer or muff that goes around my waste. When it gets real cold I put those hand warmer packets inside. For archery hunting, I use the same thing along with a light pair of gloves. That way if I can use one hand to hold my bow and not freeze too bad and switch back and forth and still shoot just fine. This way with small adjustments I can go from hunting early goose when it might be in the 80's to late goose when it often has wind chills of minus 30. Most years I hunt over a range of temperatures than spans nearly 100 degrees. And I don't have what I would consider a good pair of warm hunting gloves. Well at least that I use. I do have some from when I was a kid that I don't wear any more.

Will you be in a box stand, a tree stand, still hunting, ... Since doing a lot more waterfowl hunting, I like the hand warmer with light or no gloves in nearly all circumstances.

Couple years back I picked up a pair of those Columbia Omni waterfowl gloves best glove I've ever owned and yes there are a hundred percent waterproof you can stick wet and cold hands inside that glove and your hands will be warm in minutes. They were over a hundred bucks but I picked them up for 95 on sale and it kind of gripes me they stop making them because I wanted to buy another pair

Feel like Drake has failed you then!

The company name is Drake, they specialize in making duck hunting products that ALL should be able to wear duck hunting.

For putting out and pick up of decoys there is only 1 glove worth a darn IMO : Atlas 460. Your hands will stay dry and warm. You can get them on eBay for 16.00/pair or so.

Would like to think that AB is fine other than taking another toke over the line and becoming "Lucas Turner": Aunt Betty's Honey and "Honey" Emporium.

I use a thick glove on my left hand and a thinner shooting glove on my right hand so I can feel the safety and trigger. in between shots I keep my right hand in a muff around my waist to keep warm.
