Some A-hole guy here in Pa., Meadville area I believe is in deep do do. Seems the genius admitted to shooting a Bald Eagle so it wouldnt "get his barn cats". Shot it in the head with a rifle and I believe he called the PGC to report it. Supposedly he can be fined up to 5k. Hope he gets the maximum penalty, and oh he did lose his hunting license too.

The 1972 amendments increased civil penalties for violating provisions of the Act to a maximum fine of $5,000 or one year imprisonment with $10,000 or not more than two years in prison for a second conviction. Felony convictions carry a maximum fine of $250,000 or two years of imprisonment.

So trying to interpret that. It sounds like they are not pushing for a felony since if it is as Don reported, this idiot didn't realize it was illegal and called and reported it like you would crop damage.
