Hunted a new spot Saturday with my young friend Andy. mile long corn field that I just got permission to. I walked it out and back Friday to scope it out. Farmer's wife was very welcoming to hunters, told me about other fields I hadn't seen. No posted signs. We saw several flocks of geese but no takers. Best part of the day was listening to Andy tell me about the 10 year old boy he is mentoring and introducing to the out of doors. We quit at 10 loaded out and headed home.
