Anybody watching it tonight. It's been a decent showing so far.

I didn't know about it. Is it a good one?

I've seen a bunch. One perk to working night shift.

I'm heading out again now, hopefully looking forward to the meteor shower.

It's wasn't as good as some of the ones I've seen as a kid, but it was one of the better ones I've seen in a while. I've moved farther into the country to live so I'm not dealing with the urban glow at night...everything in the sky is visible now. Next one is Nov 17 coming from the constellation Leonids.

We saw 5 or 6 while getting ready to hunt this morning.

Those weren't meteors. They were God's displeasure.

That'll work too. As long as it has something to do with you hunting on Sunday, I'm ok with it.

I only saw one or two this morning but we were out about an hour after it started.

Speaking of Sunday hunting, I sure am thankful I live in a forward thinking state that doesn't mix government and church. Example: Saturday - two guys scratched 9 ducks and a rooster. We were shooting well, and were happy to get out with the 9. Sunday - two guys and we were covered in ducks almost all morning. They were still decoying while we were picking up the damn decoys.

I wish I had that kind of problem around here.

I've got this one spot that is usually good for 2 or 3 stellar hunts about this time of year. If I time it right its one of those spots where you could film a tv show. Then it goes flat afterwards.
