It's over two dozen/day.
Haven't killed one on purpose yet.
So many males.
Its way easier keeping them outside until winter then keep breeders inside planning as I go. Eventually the outside ones die because I can't keep water from being ice.
Keep about 50 inside. I need to kill some male birds soon.
I don't know how many I have. 105 or so.
Hard to believe it but they're worth about 6 bucks each

Did you know that the camo paint job washes off?
You can scrub it off with a 3m pad.
I guess it's a coating applied by the bird when it poops the
Egg.
Some looked painted so I experimented and yes.. it comes off.

We cut the cable. Reception was sketchy at certain times of day. This new antenna made a huge difference.

At bee club meeting today we all agreed that this season is slow and late by about a week to ten days.
Too much cool and rain early has affected our honey crops. Not looking like a great year. Sigh. Will see. The linden (basswood) trees will save the year I bet.
