The combination of the flute solo and that bass guitar is classic DISCO-JAZZ.
DAZZ by BRICK.

Flute solo?
Yeah it's different.

Big change this week.
Tuesday. High over 90.
Rest of the week in the 60s with 40s at night.
I'd say that migration map , if accurate, will be active starting Tuesday night or so.
I may have to try to kill some actual teal.
They are here just not in numbers yet.
Later in the week looks good. Tomorrow? No.

Damn. Had planned to hunt but last night we had a big t storm with hail. I figured I'd find tree down on ground.
My boat had about 8 inches of water in it.
Glad I stayed home.
The hospital is a bit wet. (Flooded I mean)
Ouch. This is an office.

Did you know that there's a "royal beekeeper"?
By law he was required to personally inform the royal bees upon the queen's death.

Don't know. It looks that way .

Reminds me of the shed I refused to build.
My neighbor Ron hired me to HELP build a shed "exactly like the one I built myself". Picture a tiny barn

Sure. No problem?
I got to his new back yard ready to go.
His yard is sloped. We need to excavate...
Him: no
He now wants a split-level shed that hugs the contour of the ground..
Me: you're fuckin w/me.
Him: no...serious.
Me: bye bye Ron you just ended a friendship.
I never built the shed and neither did he.
It was a one day job...lol

More...the city removed Ron's fence when they discovered it was ten feet tall and violated codes .
I doubt his shed would be allowed.
He was about to violate arrears in a big way..

Just got the full story.
There is an adjoining office. It's in the basement.
The ceilings came down...
And it was just painted Saturday.

Smoked duck in gumbo.?
Hm...sounds good.
She usually browns them in a skillet.
I'll suggest it and she what the chef thinks.
That gumbo recipe she uses is pretty much all my wife.
She turned a CREOLE chicken gumbo recipe into her duck gumbo.
We love it. Smoky would be good.
This is a mistake. Sone of you can count.
I get lost at 5.
Ahahaha...she hid all the ducks under corn.
1663669355560676425578136045379.jpg

We discussed it.
Smoke the duck about 20 minutes. Debone and put it in the pot.
Sounds like a plan but use a gumbo duck not that baker it's head shot.

Might be a while. My daughter will get a craving.
I'm gonna have a 4th grandchild.
If you'd have told me that in '79 I'd laugh.
I'd be willing to bet I'll be waiting at 7mile when she pops.

Two years ago I swallowed my pride and "begged for ducks". Amber had a craving and I was not up to my ears in mallards. Seemed weird but I gained so much from doing that beg for ducks thing that I'm still getting gifted ducks. It opened up some doors too. That's not what I expected at all.
I really like eating waterfowl.

I'm looking forward to cool weather.
Buddy heaters kind of cold.

Drying out my burlap. It's moldy and I need to just buy new. This "vanish" stuff works great in the flooded timber.
Can't wait to shoot some lawn darts (rainbow teal) first split.

This is 10.99 at Rural King.

He is soo ready.
Already has a few retrieves this season. He plops them at my feet in the boat. I sit in the captains chair.
Handy as heck. So proud. He's such a poser.

Biden flew to funeral in C17 GALAXY.
I can't help but think " why didn't they strap a chute on and toss him out the back so he could show up on time"?
It'd be epic campaigning...not risky at all.
Do it!

If I lived in J-town I'd be eating mudbugs.
I'll get me some live ones in November.
The place looks shacky on the outside but it's nice inside.
Real nice

Been studying and comparing weather records...lol
If my long range forecast stays true it's going to be unusually cool starting Friday here.
It appears October is going to be chilly.
Usually October 20th is perfect fall weather.
This year it looks like it might snow by Halloween.
That'd be sweet. A real winter ?

Yesterday I was the only one that thought "insurance claim". Told Mary to photo and email pics of every room in the basement.
She saved you voo coo money because nobody even thought about an insurance claim.it is insured.
Today she's a rock star. Much patting on back.
They literally moved every office to the 5th floor.
Why? "Family medicine" dept was destroyed completely.
What a mess.

"Southern Alexa"?

"It's a southern thing" is a great channel. Always funny. It's funny because my grandparents were pretty much exactly what the channel is making fun of.
I love it. If you didn't say please my granny would smack you an you better say thanks.

I suck at duck calling but somehow get them to land by me. Have had some coaching.
Had all sorts of bad habits.
Some bad and some are good.
The call that forces me not to cheat is the MVP.
I tend to start grunting on a call.
The mvp forces me to use straight air. No voice.
Thats one of the habits I've had to quit doing.
Getting an MVP is a great place to start because it'll keep you honest.
