Check out how black the dirt is.

It just dawned on me "what happens when you expose fresh dirt like that".

Looks like prime melon growing dirt, just add hot, humid conditions and “CHA-CHING”. Huge, sugary sweet watermelon.

You gotta be kidding.

I'm not a deer hunter and very very closed to a "used to be" Duck hunter.
It just quit being fun.
Woa. Was wrong he sawed off their skulls.
I did the same thing to a caribou in Alaska.

When my dad died I found some things that led me to search and I just kept finding more hunting gear.
I could outfit a deer camp. My dad actually built a deer club then hunted it himself. He died in his clubhouse.

This is a mower key. It fits a deere and a husqvarna too.
I wonder if it'd start that thing.

I find this extremely interesting.

Here we have a bee study program headed by a famous entomologist.
The University of Illinois bee lab is amazing.
Picture an array of TV screens arranged to fool bees into thinking that they're flying to gather food.
The scientists can change the scenery and nectar source and study the bees reaction and how long it takes etc.
They can study how the bees select which nectar source to use.
That is "the dance" part. They study the dance, change the conditions, then study the dancing changes.
If you all want to see bees dancing you need to wait until April.
Plant some sunflowers?

This symbol seems to lack definition or story of why they use it.
The horse is a symbol of war and the mule-donkey-burro represents peace?
The internet says a cartoonist assigned these symbols.
When Andrew Jackson ran for office they called him an ass (stubborn mule) so he took the symbol for his campaign and it stuck....I think.
I do not know why or who picked an ass to represent the asses but it's perfect.

Have you ever been inside a Buc-Ees?
I had to wait to meet someone that was returning something that fell off the truck.
So I stopped at the gas station he sent me to I was clueless.
Filled up and went inside for a cold drink.
Holy shit!
I got lost in all the tourist trap kid stuff on racks.
Then I smelled leather and dayum...
They have a shop in the back HEY LETS ALL GET COWBOY HATS!

Turning it around might not even be possible.

It would be legendary to show up in that.

We've got one here, just off I-10 on the Beach exit in Robertsdale, AL, and that thing stays packed!!! It has 120 gas pumps, sells damn near everything from food to grills to gas to farm supplies, etc.... I'll only stop there when there is a reasonably small, mid-morning crowd, and grab a pound or two of sliced beef brisket on the way to the beach. Damn thing is a destination for some folks, and yes, you can spend an hour in there and not see it all. Clean ass bathrooms, and huge, almost like a good casino  Loves me some Buc-ee's!!!!!

I don't look for this stuff it finds me.

The 1970s was a very exciting point in the story of humanity. We still had hope then. Was a great time to be alive.

Now who doesn't want to be reincarnated as an American bald eagle and hunt ducks every dingle day?

When I first started buying this stuff if was around $10.50 a bag.
I did some figuring once....
In the summer I get way more eggs and a bag of feed made around 200 eggs. Right now I'm getting closer to 100. Winter will do that.
At 50 cents a piece I'm still doing OK.

If you don't want to refrigerate them simply don't wash them off.
Counterintuitive but they stay fresh longer "dirty".

I assume we all have a retriever.
ALWAYS pay attention to the dog because that dog is your gate keeper.
Weird concept but humor me.

Ever have a stranger come up to your camp and your dog does NOT LIKE HIM?
Run that guy off run him off now he has bad intentions and your dog is trying to tell you.
Dogs have incredible senses and can smell "bad".
Don't forget it. Might save your life.

We looked at chicks today.
Your normal everyday chicks that were $1.99 last year are $3.50 now.
The ones that lay colored eggs are $5.99!
What the hell?
I don't need more chickens but when I buy feed I look at the chicks.
No wonder eggs are high.

Ain't an expert but I think getting six chicks every other year seems like a good idea. They sort of start not laying as many eggs at about 2 years age I think.
Right now my five and five are staggered like that.
Some are a year older.
Had an accident an you can't just buy one pullet.
Had to get 6 more

Looks like the world class Arkansas duck hunter fantasy has run its course and we're back to the pretend farmer life. Anything to play rather than contributing to the household. Am sure the stupid bee posts will ensue and we'll hear about the Honey Mega Corp soon.

Just make sure you don’t burn them up like you do everything else on the grill.
