Ever run over a barrel?
I've done all the stoopid.
How it happens:
You break taboo without even knowing there was such a thing. "Never lean a long gun against a truck tire".
It was sloppy muddy when I did it and by some miracle the barrel was unharmed. It got ran over.
I had no idea its actually illegal in some states to do that
I see ppl do it still.

Was wondering where all the chewed up bits of foam were from. Apparently under the floor is foam. I seem to recall helping put it there in 1978.
Not sure but mice found the shit.
Vacuumed it up and more. Sticks and mud...leaves.
Took out the battery and fuel tank.
Then I cleaned everywhere with shop vac.
THEN I FOUND the two holes I didnt make.
Fucking mice.
I poison them then poison them some more until I run out of poison and more mice move in.
No food at all. They just like that foam.
Crazy damn rodents we hates em.
Gollum.

Ugh. I keep finding more little trees to cut down.
The two car brick garage has a new door thru the damn window despite being unlocked. What kind of idiot breaks into an unlocked garage? I missed that too.
I don't even want to look inside the house.

This is typical. The geese were eating grass seeds across the street.

The crackheads would come out.
They tore the house down over there to evict them therefore I need to be vigilant.
The yards in that subdivision are all 2-5 acres.
The building in lower picture is a hobby shop and a carpet store.
Slot and Wing Hobbies is also called Hunter's Haven it's an archery range too. They tune bows.

This morning I told the wife about the two new mouse holes in the boat plus the bits of foam thing.
We agreed it's not really worth stripping the boat and rebuild it again. New carpet.
She said new boat and new truck and I grinned.
Not just yet I said.
A deal will happen or I'll just break down and buy a truck OTS. (On the spot).
Wow. I wasn't trying to hint or anything.
My dodge is 15 yrs old. 110k miles

Hare Force was just on.
Bugs Bunny.
You think it's about aviation?
No.
It's the one where the dog Sylvester and Bugs fight over who sleeps by the fire. It ends with them both tossing the old lady out into the cold.

When cartoon network was on they over-played it.
Got sick of it where everyone hated it.
They finally played it again on metv.
Delightful.

Looking at forecast. Looks like midweek is when to try again. I haven't seen geese flying at all lately.
Sunday is teal opener but it's gonna rain.
Saturday morning might work.
Probably not 50:50.

You'd think grinding a couple of welds flat would be easy but no. I'm gonna have to take the wheel off and jack it up.
Got tired and a neck cramp from it already.

Hey I'm a wood butcher attempting to "unweld" a fender off a boat trailer. One fell off sort of so I grinded it clean.
Think this is the way to go?

I'll paint them primer gray.
Bolt em on or weld them?
Have drill but no welder.
I could pay the machine shop but bolts are cheap. My time is free.
Need reflector tape.
If you've seen where I park and how dark it is and how drunk they are....you'd have reflector tape all over your rig.
I do.

Been spending too much time at the bee yard cutting brush. Today I burned stuff.
Been noticing the birds of prey that use the crown of the oak. The top is dead from lightning
Usually it's buzzards but today a big white and brown hawk showed up.

I see it’s in the 50’s. Nice morning even if the birds don’t play fair. Millet appears to be in mid-season form, I’m hoping he drags many birds back to your boat this season.
