Dumbest ,or worst gear marketed? or very disappointed with let’s hear it

One of the worst purchases ive ever made were mudders for field hunting chisel plowed fields ,first time out had moon boots so heavy you just plain got weighted down when i made it back from the field they went in the dumpster

Years ago Herters made a goose decoy that was a POS. It was essentially, a piece of material that was like snow fencing except it was black. This was fitted to a piece of gray plastic tubing that was circular and attached to it was the plastic goose head. The idea was that you were supposed to get underneath this thing and pull it over you so if you moved around under it it would look like the goose was moving. The dam thing was held together with zip ties, and when it got cold the zip ties would break and the whole thing would kind of collapse. I think I maybe used it once, unsuccessfully and then tossed it. maybe I should have bought that 6' long goose decoy they made where you crawled inside. I'd like to find one of those for posterity, but my wife might not like that in our already crowded garage......P.S. I remember those muck boots. Never looked like they would do much good.

I agree on that decoy being a pos! And to this day 30 some years later i still take a ribbing about those mudders, i think around 10 yrs ago somebody had hats shaped like ducks and geese i guess you can market anything today and make a buck
