Recently had one of those clouds picked up on a satellite over Minnesota turned out to be a Mayfly hatch

Let's hope the return is well before the 15th of September because it sure is a lot of fun hunting the dumb ones in early goose. They can make anybody look like a rock star

My purple martins have been getting thinner by the day. Maybe that is some of the migration being seen?

Doubtful but I did think about it.
Those moths emerge from their cocoons, mate, then die.
That part of their life is 48 hours maybe.

Saw a flocks of ducks, or maybe they were pigeons, doves maybe but they looked tasty from 300 yards. I saw birds! They were flapping an chit.

More: last conservation goose season I was getting lots of easy shots at ducks that I couldn't take.
Pintails, gadwalls, and teal flew thru my spread for a week then I went to Alabama to not shoot doves.

OK...I listen to a ton of idiotic chatter about ducks.
ONE of the things hunters say is that the migration has moved eastward.
If these migratory birds are using the Mississippi Flyway they're off track a bit.
Perhaps this is evidence of what they say about an eastward shift.?
