I've several headlights, thanks in large part to foundlings in my blind and fields, and there's probably a message in that. The ones I use are straight-forward and light weight. This one is EDC during hunting season: https://www.amazon.com/STREAMLIGHT-6142 ... id=3180291.

And this one's been my choice when more serious light is called for, be it frogging or hurricane: https://www.amazon.com/Boruit-Flashligh ... B012QHKI56

This is what you don't want.

It hasn't been snatched off my head by a branch YET.

I was gifted a Boruit headlamp two years ago, from one of my brothers, when we were on an upper delta duck hunt. Had never really used one duck hunting, and realized how much I appreciated having both hands free when cutting blind material, and managing the decoys. I'd always considered them a PIA after hunting with friends, and having the damn thing shined in my face repeatedly :o

Do you deer hunt? I can't remember the model, but I have one with a red setting as you click through. Walk into the stand with the red on. Anything else, I use the white settings. It's my nicest one that I use most of the time if I remember it

I have a couple basic ones that all do the trick for most of what I do. However, I do want to pick up a bright one because sometimes I wish I had more light.

I have a cheap one somebody gave me that you can't adjust the angle of the light. I keep that in my blind bag as a spare. When I forget one of my better lights, I realize that I like to be able to adjust the angle.

I also always keep one in my glovebox and one in my wife's glovebox. I find they are handier than a hand held flashlight.

Eventually we will have a 250,000 lumen headlight.
With a glance you can set your hunting partners head ablaze.

^^^^ you dont have to wait. Just get a Fenix. Its like having a tiny Q-beam on ur head lol.

Other than the big 3" lights with the belt battery packs used for gator hunting, and the $8k surgeon's lamps, theres nothing brighter on the market. Im not even sure the surgeons lights are actually brighter.....

You completely missed it.
I'm "that guy" that will burn your face off with a headlight.
You sure I need the very brightest light?
Is a 120 watt light bar enough?

Yes, I am 100% sure I NEED that light. Besides, it has like 8 different settings w/ 2 beams + red. Its not like its uncontrollable....

I am an avid catfish night angler and this light just works, Ive also got a Baja Designs LP9 racebeam mounted on my boat.

I just figure its better to have enough light, than not enough.

Must be mighty fearful of the dark.
Tie kerosene-soaked rags around your ankles.

Yes, I am definitely scared of hitting a tree/log running 30 mph down the river in the black of night. I also were a mustang self inflating PFD even though I am an excellent swimmer. Between gator hunting, deer hunting, and waterfowl hunting, a quality light is worth its weight in gold.

Do you drive at night without headlights??

No but I'm not running a rig with 4 light bars.
Ii run thru the woods in the elk chute.
You'd be lost in the woods off to the west of the trail like everyone. All over there lookin 4 gators an chit.

However: very small penis.
This ain't even a contest but continue big wally.

Prove your boat goes 30. Mine only does 20 until I go on the black River. 25 down stream...15 up.
That river is fast. Curvy as hell..

Well I was at the local auto store and saw this one on the shelf for eight dollars and figured what the heck I’d give it a try. Pretty cheap and it works well with my tenergy rechargeable batteries.

Price is right, especially given how many are lost afield.

If you need to explain the joke either you're not funny or the audience is retarded or too young to get the joke.
"AUNT BETTY APPROVED" is a reference to the late Paul Harvey.
