Joe passed away yesterday. A true master of his craft. He will be missed.

That’s a shame to hear. I’ll never forget the first time I heard one of his calls. They sound different, and awesome, to my and many ducks’ ears.

Big loss for the duck hunting fraternity. Most everyone had one of his calls at one time or another. RIP

Joe was to duck calls like Tim Grounds was to goose calls...the #1

That's a flavor that I'd never seen or heard of because where I live finding "a duck call" , any duck call, that's not at Walmart is nearly unheard of.
My first calls were Lohman or Haydel.
I'd try one but if I like it you'll never see it again.
