The plond and foamy oak

The weirdest things I remember are the plond and foamy oak.
The plond was real there are maybe pictures on dhc.
A guy in Ohio I believe created a fake wetland using black plastic and rocks. Was kind of cool and he said it worked.
Foamy Oak on the other hand was a "scam".
It took me years but eventually I ran into people in real life thst had invested money or knew people that had.
They pointed out that the butthurt was real.
The concept was a foam hollow tree you hide in like a blind. Lots of criticism in the threads. People shoot trees? Who knew?
I'm thinking the member that scammed was called Dacowboy. I actually crossed his wake in Arkansas but a few years late.
